Recapping my OWL 2020 Season
My first full season in the Overwatch League has come to an end, and I can’t succinctly sum it up. The season was disappointing in many ways. We didn’t travel the world. We didn’t host homestands. We didn’t hear roaring crowds every weekend or meet scores of fans. We didn’t win many games.
To the OWL Grand Finals
As a kid, video games were never celebrated. It’s a classic tale. My parents restricted my screen time. I couldn’t play Call of Duty until I was 13. I rarely received new games outside of Christmas and my birthday. In hindsight, I mostly respect those decisions. But as a kid, they sucked.
The Highlights of My Trip to Japan
To cap off my travels this semester, I spent 12 days in Japan, which is the country I’ve wanted to go to most for the majority of my life. I cannot begin to explain how much the trip meant to me, nor do I have the time to detail everything I did there, but here are some of the highlights.

The weekend after traveling to Seoul, I went to Singapore with the other student studying here from my university. We had a great weekend, and I’m finally getting around to writing about it.
Recapping My Trip to Seoul, South Korea
It was a whirlwind March. In a span of 18 days, I took 6 flights for a combined 18 hours 50 minutes and 6,788 miles spent in planes. Between classes and travel, I didn’t have much of a chance to share my past couple trips with you. So here’s a recap of my weekend in Seoul, South Korea.
Trip to Hualien, Taiwan
Wow. Just wow. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but not even pictures can describe just how beautiful Hualien, Taiwan and Toroko National Park are. I’ll do my best, but if you get nothing else from my post, know this: Eastern Taiwan is an underrated, must-see landscape for nature lovers and adventurers.
Overwatch in Asia
Unlike the other articles I’ve written so far, this one doesn’t involve me going anywhere outside my dorm room. But I think it’s worth writing nonetheless: playing Overwatch is quite the experience here in Asia.
